If you want to go further, you can repaint the walls or update with new fixtures. But if you’re really tired of an outdated kitchen, do a serious renovation and also upgrade the cabinets, counters, flooring and lighting.
Deck or patio additions
You can’t entertain a crowd in the summer if you don’t have the outdoor space for them to spread out. Add the deck, porch, or patio you’ve planned and you’ll be ready when those barbecues and graduations roll around.

Removing walls or rearranging interior space can be uncomfortable in cold weather. Reduce the burden by remodeling in the spring. An added bonus: drywall dries easier when you can open the windows and let the spring air do the work!
