Home renovation

HGTV home improvement show is looking for DFW owners

Most homeowners have at least one thing about their home that they wish they could change. However, the cost sometimes prevents them from carrying out the renovations of their dreams. Luckily, DFW homeowners can be lucky enough to have their home remodeled for a lot less than they thought. All they have to do is be prepared to put their home on TV and risk the world getting a glimpse of their family life.

HGTV’s “No Demo Reno” recently announced that they are looking for DFW owners for the show’s second season. The series, hosted by Burleson native Jenn Todryk, is looking for families willing to trade self-sufficiency in exchange for an overhaul of their home. “No Demo Reno,” which debuted in March 2021, follows Todryk as she combines design solutions and budget ideas to create transformations on homes.

According to Dallas Culture Map, the show is looking for owners in North Dallas, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Fairview, Prosper, Richardson, Frisco and Lucas. Although the design is free, homeowners may have to pay between $10,000 and $100,000, depending on the extent of the renovation. For those who aren’t afraid of skeletons in their closet, this might be the perfect opportunity to renovate their home.
