Adele has apparently given up work on her huge London home.
The ‘Someone Like You’ singer – who has son Angelo, nine, with ex-husband Simon Konecki and is dating sports agent Rich Paul – is based in the US but in 2019 she received a license to build to turn two houses into a giant abode in the British capital, but “absolutely nothing happened” with the renovations.
And with just seven weeks to go until the building deal expires, it now appears the 33-year-old star has scrapped plans for the property, which was originally set to include a huge 1,000 square foot master bedroom, a huge games room, and parking for two cars in a renovated basement.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: ‘Adele’s grand plans to bring down her two houses into one have totally failed. She obtained the authorization for the works in May 2019 and everything was to be completed three years after this date.
“Last year a noise notice was posted outside the properties warning that work was about to start – but absolutely nothing happened. Both houses were untouched and no work has been done Adele’s neighbors were obviously glad they didn’t have to put up with this kind of major overhaul, but it has left some a bit confused as to what she’s planning next.
In addition to neighboring homes, the “Easy on Me” hitmaker also owns a three-bedroom apartment in the city.
According to reports, the modern development has a 24-hour concierge team, as well as an energy center, swimming pool, sauna, gym and even a shop of air-conditioned wine.
The three bedroom apartment is also extremely secure and private.
